Salz & Pfeffer in Kaiserslautern

If you ever tried to get a key cut from City Mill, Lowes and Home Improvement and they said they could not cut the key go to Salz because they cut keys the old fashioned way. This is because their fancy key cutter does not have the template. They recalibrate their key cutting machine every few days which is unheard of. Need an extra key cut for your steering wheel lock they can do it.

Excellent services friendly staff and very knowledgeable

I'm a professional property manager. I have been burned in the past by having keys cut at the big box stores and local hardware stores. There is nothing more frustrating than to find that the duplicate key you just spent an hour having made was not cut correctly and doesn't work. In all my years of getting keys cut at Salz I have never had one key not work. I will drive out of my way to go to Salz for this reason. They are also very fast and professional. Highly recommend.

Ellen helped me with purchasing a new mortise lock. Knowing nothing about what specs are needed for a replacement cylinder, Ellen educated me on the things I needed to look at and measure. Cylinder height from the back of the face plate and orientation of the cam. Super helpful. Will return if i ever need lock Smith help

Salz Lock & Safe Co are the tops. Very professional and fast. I had four keys to be made and it took less than 10 minutes and I was on my way. The keys all worked. I recommend you go to Salz for all your key needs as they have a complete inventory of key blanks.

Service at Salz Lock & Safe was quick. There were 3 customers before me, but were done in a few minutes. My keys were made quickly and I was out of there in maybe 10 - 15 minutes with keys in hand. And the keys worked perfectly! The usual places for making keys like Home Depot, Lowes, City Mill and Ace Hardware did not have matching key blanks. Thank you Salz Lock & Safe!

Ellen usually the one to see on moped keys but anyone there will do it...NOTE they do require that you bring the moped before wasting their time & blank cutting a spare, never had any bad ones from them...yay

They people here are amazing. They treat you nicely, like family! You can tell they care! One of the keys they cut for me didn’t work, and I just went back and kindly explained it to them. It was a different person than the one who had helped me originally. No questions! They just recur it, and apologized for the inconvenience, which was not needed. Wonderful people! Highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

It is the place to get car replacement keys! I just called ahead, make sure they have what I need, and I don’t always need two working keys to do it! That’s pretty great.

These guys are awesome, helped us in a time of need even when they closed down. We came in late but Mark was still around and saved us. A locksmith is one thing everyone should have and know.
